In particular, he has vast knowledge of industrial automation in the upstream oil & gas sector where he has configured entire automation systems. Damien is a PhD candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Kentucky. There, his research interests include electric aircraft and power electronics. Damien has also served as an electric aircraft research and development intern at NASA’s Glenn Research Center for the past two summers where he has worked on next generation highly efficient electric motor drives.
